Buyer’s premium explained
Minute Wars shows buyer premium as part of transparent checkout totals on winning bids.
What it is
A buyer’s premium is a platform fee added on top of the winning bid, shown with shipping and tax where applicable so totals stay clear before you pay.
Platform defaults have been a percentage of the hammer price (20%) with a flat minimum (about $1.50) when the percentage would be lower. Minute Wars may change these rates — always use the premium shown in the live room and at checkout.
Where you see it
During bidding and checkout, Minute Wars surfaces bid, premium, shipping, and estimated tax before you confirm payment.
If you do not pay a win on time, the Terms allow Minute Wars to charge the buyer’s premium as a non-payment penalty — see Paying after you win.
