How 60-second live auctions work

When a Minute Wars listing goes live, bidding runs in a hard 60-second round in the live auction room.

The live minute

Each live item is auctioned in a hard 60-second round. The clock does not extend when bids come in. Enter the live room from the dashboard when an item you care about goes live.

The round opens at the platform minimum when its live minute starts if there is no higher valid pre-bid opening the round.

Queue order

Queued items generally promote in first-in, first-out order for the next live minute. Featured placement can jump an item forward once; after that it follows normal queue order.

Sold and closed listings leave the rotation. Empty live rounds recycle to the back of the queue instead of staying at the front.

After the clock

If there is a valid winning bid and any reserve rules are satisfied, the item is sold to the winning bidder for checkout.

If no valid bid is placed during the live minute, the item returns to the back of the queue. If a reserve is set and not met, the listing is unsold rather than recycled as an empty live round.
